I don't think it makes much difference to the memory requirements.

Try disabling all non-essential elements, e.g. Assertions.

Have you increased the Unix heap memory as I suggested last time?

The default in 2.3.2 for the Unix script is:

HEAP="-Xms256m -Xmx256m"
