Let me explain in more detail.

There are two threads, X and Y.  Both run simultaneously to reach
checkpoint A.  X sends a request to the server which is sent to Y.  X
needs to know that Y received what was sent.

To implement the above I was asking for something like dependency
configuration / join implementation.
