Also on another solaris 9 machine I just went ahead and installed the jmeter
and ant binaries, while running our jmeter script it fails and I see the
following in the log file:

just to double check. If you're using jdk1.4 on solaris 9, make sure
you patch solaris. if you don't patch solaris 9, the jvm might not run
correctly.


looks like you're trying to build jmeter. You will need to make sure
your classpath is correct.
