Subject RE: regex extractor termplate

MAT I suggest trying the following templates to narrow down the problem?

 $2$ ${VAR} $3$

where VAR is a variable that has been set elsewhere.

This should reveal if there is a bug or not.

Subject: regex extractor termplate

i am using jmeter 2.0.1 on linux using jdk 1.4.

my regex is something like

in the template, i have this

what i am trying to construct here is a URL
$2$ - contains an encrypted string from the results of the
                  prev request
$3$ - contains the rest of the URL

first, is this valid for the template?

second, if valid, i observed that the resulting reference name has ...

[value of $2$][value of $3$][value read from file]

    ... instead of what i expect ..

[value of $2$][value read from file]/[value of $3$]

anybody know whether i am doing something wrong or this is an issue?
