Subject RE: Very basic questions.......Help
Date Wed, 07 Nov 2001 14:42:33 GMT
I am using Jmeter 1.6.1, and there is no proxy server available (at least I
could not find it). I tried 1.7 but I got errors and would not start, do I
need to download the nightly builds?
Thanks
Juan

You should use JMeter's GUI to generate test scripts rather than typing xml.
There's no schema describing the xml, so you'd have a hard time generating
it correctly.

Even better would be to use the proxy server to record what you do in your
browser. Read about that here:
http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/user_manual/proxy_server.html
