Antonio mentioned the property jmeter.hidpi.scale.factor. That property 
can be set in bin/jmeter.properties.
There are even more font related properties that are described at 
http://jmeter.apache.org/usermanual/properties_reference.html

Another interesting one might be jsyntaxtextarea.font.size
