            Bug ID: 60871
Summary: Enhancement: Provision to disable Assertions during
                    the run-time would help.
           Product: JMeter
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: Main
          Assignee: issues@jmeter.apache.org
          Reporter: rbnaveen558@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

As of now, If we want to develop a script, we use Assertions for debugging
purpose. But, during execution time, Assertions, as proved to be costly in
terms of resources, should be removed from the script. Higher the number of
Assertions, longer the time to finish the task and mistake-prone.

So, Requesting the team to add provision to disable all the Assertions in the
script using a property or similar thing.

Existing solutions are not effective.
