            Bug ID: 60495
Summary: Add mocking framework to ease/enable more testing
           Product: JMeter
           Version: 3.1
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: Main
          Assignee: issues@jmeter.apache.org
          Reporter: felix.schumacher@internetallee.de
  Target Milestone: ---

As discussed on the dev mailing list, we would like to include a mocking
framework. A short research resulted in the following candidates:

In order to decide which framework we want to use, each framework should be
used to model a test case. As jdbc seems to be a bit under tested, it would
probably be a good idea to use AbstractJDBCTestElement.java as a starting
point.
