The issue was resolved by 

Commenting out the AuthorizedAddresses, from the config.xml file, 

james\apps\james\SAR-INF

Hi Gunter,

I don't understand your problem. JAMES has a SMTPServer included. So
just connect to it and use "simple smtp" to send the email.
