1/ Ahh sounds like i have been looking in the wrong
place .. its probably mailx setting foo.bar.com part

2/ when i telnet in it connects .. but i get a blank
screen (no login prompt) ... then disconnects me
(probably because there has been no login attempt) ...
any more ideas?
