Subject [jira] Commented: (MIME4J-129) Split Up Core Module
Date Sat, 02 May 2009 18:46:30 GMT

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MIME4J-129?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12705317#action_12705317

Markus Wiederkehr commented on MIME4J-129:

I think the separation of storage, parser and dom could lead to a clearer design. Probably
that's all there is to it..

Also I still believe that the separation into three modules should be relatively easy. If
the modularization shows that some classes have to go to different packages then that's probably
a good thing.

On the other hand modularization is certainly not a must have for me. So I'm +0 to stick to
the original plan.

> Fix For: 0.7
> ATM only example and benchmark code has been moved into separate modules. The core module
contains all substantial code.
> IIRC the plan was that core would be completely replaced by a number of separate modules.
This task has been created to track this work.
