In my taglib, the "query" tag passes the SQL statement to the "statement" tag. Well, I'll look at the tags and see what cleanup I have to perform before releasing them. Hopefully, I'll have CVS privileges when I'm ready to submit the new tags. (Sorry, I wasn't aware I was sending HTML. Damn Outlook. I think I have it fixed now.) - Morgan > -----Original Message----- > From: Nacho [mailto:nacho@siapi.es] > Sent: Tuesday, December 26, 2000 10:48 AM > To: 'taglibs-dev@jakarta.apache.org' > Subject: RE: SQL tags > > > Hola a todos: > > (Please do not use HTML when post to lists, it's makes conversations > almost impossible ) > > The SQL taglib was that you comment, a toy implementation, usefull to > learn, nothing more was pretended with that, at least from myself.. > > I think will be better to use the"sql" Taglib subproyect to something > more usefull and better implemented than the actual SQL taglib, > > +1in do whatever you think it's usefull to the actual SQL taglib. > > I think that a SQL taglib it's really useful. > > What do you want to do to the query tag? > > > Saludos , > Ignacio J. I use the query tag in a slightly different way than = in the current subproject.  In my taglib, the "query" = tag passes the SQL statement to the "statement" = tag.

Well, I'll look at the tags and see what cleanup I = have to perform before releasing them.  Hopefully, I'll have CVS = privileges when I'm ready to submit the new tags.

(Sorry, I wasn't aware I was sending HTML.  Damn = Outlook.  I think I have it fixed now.)
