Missing functionality in Perl5Util.substitute( )

Summary: Missing functionality in Perl5Util.substitute( )
           Product: ORO
           Version: 2.0
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Main
        AssignedTo: oro-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: tom_ewall@wr.com

I want to substitute \n in a file with \n. (That is, the text \n with a
carriage return). In regular Perl, the following works: s/\\n/\n
However, util.substitute("s/\\n/\n",<String>); did not work (it printed
out "\n" instead of doing a carriage return). The regular substitution worked
fine (e.g. util.substitute("s/@/\n",<String>) resulted in "@" being replaced by
carriage returns.
