Subject RE: JCS Lateral cache not shutting down
Date Tue, 30 Aug 2005 14:32:09 GMT
Aaron,

You are the MAN! Thanks for spending the time, it is most definitely
appreciated. We will be testing this heavily in our QA period over the next
4 weeks, and will let you know how the fix looks.

You're most likely aware, but I thought I'd let you know that the link to
the Downloads and the Source Repository on http://jakarta.apache.org/jcs/
are still pointing to cvs.apache.org instead of svn.apache.org.

I didn't realize you guys had moved over to Subversion. Very cool! But, it
took me like 15 minutes to figure out where you commited your patch :)

Thanks again,
Ian.

Fixed shutdown for lateral.
Added shutdown observer framework.
Changed listener thread to a daemon.
Made executor on listener use a daemon setting thread
factory.

1.2.6.7 was compiled under jdk 1.4. The new jgroups
jar forces a 1.4 compilation.
I will move jgroups to the 1.4 extension build later
so we can continue with 1.3.

Cheers,

Aaron
