Subject RE: Is there any binary release of JCS?
Date Tue, 03 Aug 2004 17:32:21 GMT
Hi,

I have no idea what jcs jar is in the torque project. I would either build jcs or get the
jars from the tempbuild directory.

There are two jars, a core jcs jar and one with additional jdk 1.4 specific features.

http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/jakarta-turbine-jcs/tempbuild/

At a minimum, you need the core jar, which can be found here:

http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/jakarta-turbine-jcs/tempbuild/jcs-1.1-dev.jar

What other jars you need depends on what auxiliaries you are using. You can find the full
list of possible dependecies here.

http://jakarta.apache.org/turbine/jcs/dependencies.html

I read it is available in the Torque project.

is JCS self contained ? Do I only need the jcs jar file contained in Torque (3.1) ? what are
the dependencies of JCS ? (What other jar files would be required?) Thanks.
