There is a script in the scripts directory called remoteCacheStats.  You
will have to get set the classpath for it and the port, but it should
help.  

Also, increase your log level.  

There used to be an embedded server that hosted a servlet. This made it
easy.  I'll see if I can get something like that working by early next
week again.
