Subject RE: How to set user principal in setUp()

Hi,

I finally have cactus running the way you explained, joy!

Ok what did I do to get it working ...

To be honest there is too much to write, but for the benefit of others who might have read
this thread ...
I followed Petar's instructions on getting the example working.
Once I got that working, I applied the same to my own application.
I ran into one error after the next but the end result was to have similar files that were
created by the sample application's ant "test" target.
That test target depended on other ant targets but anyway it creates the following files:

cactus.samples.ejb3-1.8.1-SNAPSHOT.ear
cactus.samples.ejb3-1.8.1-SNAPSHOT.jar
cactus.samples.ejb3-1.8.1-SNAPSHOT.war
cactus.samples.ejb3-cactified.ear

for my application I just modified what I needed so that my corresponding generated files
were similar.
I had to add extra files like:
- persistence.xml
- jdbc lib in jboss's lib directory.
- myapp-ds.xml in the jboss deploy directory.

The tests are now running, but every single one is failing.
I'm praying I'm not getting the initial error again, but I cannot print any statements out
in the test class to see.
Anyway, that is another issue.
I will create a new thread.

Petar thank you so much for your help with all this, it seems more like a specific problem
to me because I wasn't familiar with cactus etc.
But I hope it helps someone else anyways.

Adios!
Nicole
