Subject NullPointerException/EJBLookup

Hello.

I get always a Nullpointer Exception when I try to access a EJB-Session Bean
from a cactus TestCase with the following stack. (I start the TestCases via
ServletTestRunner)

2:54:10,926 ERROR [Engine] StandardWrapperValve[ServletTestRunner]:
Servlet.service() for servlet ServletTestRunner threw exception
java.lang.NullPointerException

It seems as if ServletTestRunner throws a NullPointerException. I guess that
"theBaseString" in XMLFormater at row 315 is for some Reason null, but I'm not
sure because I couldn't debug it until now.

There has to be something wrong with my ejb application, I know, but I'm not
sure if cactus is intended to throw a NullPointerException anyhow. After the
NullpointerException I get no Ouptut on the Browser.(no response)

I tried it with jboss/jetty and jboss/tomcat and the NullpointerException
happened in both environments.

Thanks for any advice.
Georg
