Subject Clustering JR - The datastore
Date Thu, 29 Sep 2011 10:56:16 GMT
I want to set up a JR cluster but there is a question that turns to be key
to reach a conclusion: datastore location and distribution.

As i read, the datastore, file system, persistence manager and journal must
be the same for all the clusters. All of them, except for the datastore, can
be set up as more or less efficient systems (remotely accessed database
server). The only the alternative for the datastore to be accessible from
fully logically, physically and _geographically_ distributed repositories
seems to be NFS, resulting:

                                                      NFS Drive
                                                   / | \
                                                  / | \
                                                 / | \
                                              JR1 JR2 JR3
                                               Load Balancing and
                                             Fault Tolerance solution.

Any alternative i am ignoring?

Thanks in advance for your comments!
