Subject to know whether postgres is working fine with jackrobbat

hi i am new to this jackrabbit i am also new to this software field i am
fresher .In my project we have lot of photo we need to store them in server
and i need to develop this using jackrobbat so its very useful to search and
also its good in terms of performance .
to convert filesystem to postgresql i made this changes 
In repository.xml
path(/opt/jboss-5.1.0.GA/server/all-with-hornetq/deploy/jackrabbit-server.war/WEB-INF/repository
and  in /opt/jboss-5.1.0.GA/bin/jackrabbit/repository)
i changed into

how can i come to know whether it is working or not .i thought that
jackrobbat will going to creat table for my database mingle_photos i not
able to see that photos can any one please help it
