Subject AW: Change a version from version history
Date Wed, 14 Jul 2010 09:15:24 GMT

we do not want to change the latest revision. We want to change the complete version history
and all versions (revisions) in there because we have to migrate some data. I think that is
not possible because Jackrabbit throws a Exception when you try to change a version node from
version history. It says: "Node is protected".

Any other ideas how we could migrate data in the version history?

I don't know if this is possible (to manipulate the versionned nodes
like this). Why not checking the node out and changing the properties
you need without checking it back in (that is, without creating a new
revision with the changes)?
