Subject Database configuration for Apache Jackrabbit 2.0.0
Date Tue, 16 Mar 2010 16:35:06 GMT

Hi all,

I was trying to configure Apache Jackrabbit 2.0.0 in order to get everything
stored in an mySql.
It should not create any files on the LocalFileSystem but in my case it is
creating some files.

I am trying to configure it in sample web application
"jackrabbit-webapp-2.0-jsr283.war" with no success :-(.

I have changed the repository.xml as below

<Repository>
   <FileSystem class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.fs.db.DbFileSystem">

   </FileSystem>

	<DataStore class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.data.db.DbDataStore">

    </DataStore>

    <Security appName="Jackrabbit">

        <SecurityManager
class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.security.simple.SimpleSecurityManager"
workspaceName="security">
        </SecurityManager>
        <AccessManager
class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.security.simple.SimpleAccessManager">
        </AccessManager>
        <LoginModule
class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.security.simple.SimpleLoginModule">

        </LoginModule>
    </Security>

    <Workspaces rootPath="${rep.home}/workspaces"
defaultWorkspace="default"/>

    <Workspace name="${wsp.name}">

		<PersistenceManager
class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.persistence.bundle.MySqlPersistenceManager">

		</PersistenceManager>

		<FileSystem class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.fs.db.DbFileSystem">

		</FileSystem>

        <SearchIndex
class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.query.lucene.SearchIndex">

        </SearchIndex>

    </Workspace>

    <Versioning rootPath="${rep.home}/version">

		<FileSystem class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.fs.db.DbFileSystem">

		</FileSystem>

		<PersistenceManager
class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.persistence.bundle.MySqlPersistenceManager">

		</PersistenceManager>

    </Versioning>

    <SearchIndex
class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.query.lucene.SearchIndex">

    </SearchIndex>

</Repository>

thanks in advance
