Subject Encryption configuration in jackrabbit
Date Wed, 09 Sep 2009 13:16:08 GMT
Hi,

I am using jackrabbit 1.6 and MySql 5.0 and modified the repository.xml for
storing data in database as below.

<PersistenceManager
class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.persistence.bundle.MySqlPersistenceManager">
          <param name="url" value="jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/jackrabbit"/>
          <param name="user" value="jackrabbit" />
          <param name="password" value="jackrabbit" />
          <param name="schema" value="mysql"/>
          <param name="schemaObjectPrefix" value="${wsp.name}_"/>
        </PersistenceManager>

For security.....

<Security appName="Jackrabbit">
        <SecurityManager
class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.DefaultSecurityManager"
workspaceName="security">
        </SecurityManager>
        <AccessManager
class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.security.DefaultAccessManager">
        </AccessManager>
        <LoginModule
class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.security.authentication.DefaultLoginModule">
            <param name="anonymousId" value="anonymous"/>
            <param name="adminId" value="admin"/>
       </LoginModule>
</Security>

when I create a new user with the following code

UserManager userManager = session.getUserManager();
User user = (User)userManager.getAuthorizable("user1");
  if (user == null)
      user = userManager.createUser("user1", "user1");

It makes an entry in "security_bundle" table in a encrypted format.

How can i see the decrypted value?Where one would be making the
configuration changes if any?

Thanks
Vijay Katariya
