Hi,

The SQL2 parser problem was only fixed in the 2.0 branch, see
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-2155

SQL2 and joins are new features, and still work-in-progress. They are
not fully supported in the 1.x branch. If you want to use it, you
would need to use Jackrabbit 2.0 alpha.
