Yes,

You should have just one SLF4J implementation in your classpath. It
looks like you want to use log4j for logging, so the SLF4J
implementation should be slf4j-log4j12-1.5.2.jar that you also already
have in your classpath. Drop the slf4j-simple jar that is causing your
logs to appear on standard output.

Having both slf4j-log4j12 and log4j-over-slf4j in your classpath will
end in endless recursion where logging statements are first delegated
from SLF4J to log4j by slf4j-log4j12 and then back by
log4j-over-slf4j. Drop the log4j-over-slf4j jar.

In summary, you should only have the following slf4j and log4j jars
you have in your classpath:

    slf4j-api
    slf4j-log4j12
    log4j
