The type of file really doesn't matter all that much.

You'd probably want to create a node of type nt:file, with an associated child node of type
jcr:content, and store it there

See

Subject: Storing Files(XML) in Jackrabbit

Hi All ,

I have a XML file which contains the details of some product. E.g. below

<Camera>
<name></name>
<pixel></pixel>
<zoom></zoom>
..
..
..
</Camera>

Please let me know what is the best way to store this in JAckrabbit
repository .

Thanks,
Ashish
