Subject externalBLOBs and transactions
Date Fri, 20 Jun 2008 12:30:48 GMT

Hi.

We're using a DB-based persistence managers. If we set externalBLOBs="true",
BLOBs will be stored in a file system (if I don't miss something). What is
the impact on transactions consistency in the case of external BLOBs, will
transactions still be atomistic, isolated and so on?
As I know, external blobs can't be used in a cluster. Are there any other
drawbacks?

Thanks in advance.
