Hi,

timeouts would be a good solution. There is a troube in my case that I do
not have a control over sessions but I can try this (as you suggested).

javax.jcr.Session session = ...;
((org.apache.jackrabbit.core.RepositoryImpl)
session.getRepository()).shutdown();
