There's a release candidate available at
http://people.apache.org/~jukka/jackrabbit/1.4-rc1/ and unless any
major issues come up, the release will likely go out at the end of
next week.

It would be nice if people tried out the release candidate and
reported back (on dev@) whether they had any issues with the release.
