You are in luck there as you get both with the jackrabbit war file download.
It does take some configuration and I have suggested to the team with
positive response that creating a bundle that gives you a out of the box
running WebDAV repository would be a good thing.

So if I get it straight, I need two apps:

1) a JackRabbit server (with the repository)
2) a JackRabbit webapp (with JAAS authentication)

Is that correct?
