Subject [jira] [Commented] (OAK-7807) [S3DataStore] S3DataStore unit tests not deleting buckets created during test
Date Wed, 10 Oct 2018 03:28:00 GMT

Amit Jain commented on OAK-7807:
--------------------------------

{quote}I wonder if the cleanup could be failing due to time drift
{quote}
Yes that most likely the case.
{quote}using the time when the test began running as the date
{quote}
Could we also backdate the time by a few seconds to tide over the above? The current approach
is essentially retrying and may also fail in some cases.
{quote}I wanted to use wording that would be unlikely to be used by a normal human but would
be easy to identify
{quote}
Aren't the names like {{5408-6709-test}} distinguishing themselves from other names? The name
is still longish for my taste but please go ahead with the patch if you feel that is better.
I have no strong views really.

> It appears that when the S3DataStore tests run they are not properly cleaning up S3 buckets
that were created during the execution of the test.
