Subject [jira] [Commented] (JCR-3562) Adding a child node named {foo fails but bar} works
Date Tue, 09 Apr 2013 13:16:16 GMT

Alexander Klimetschek commented on JCR-3562:

Why is that wrong? The spec isn't mentioning that if { is followed by an invalid URI it should
just see it as normal name - I'd read it as "throw an exception that this does not refer to
a valid namespace URI".

Also, the spec says: "A repository may further restrict the names of entities to a subset
of JCR names and in most cases is encouraged to do so."

> I'll attach a test patch that demonstrates that addNode("bar}") works but addNode("{foo")
> AFAIK both are valid child node names.
