Subject [jira] [Commented] (JCR-3562) Adding a child node named {foo fails but bar} works
Date Tue, 09 Apr 2013 12:56:16 GMT

Alexander Klimetschek commented on JCR-3562:

No, that behavior seems right: A "{" starts a qualified name, with the part inside the curly
braces addressing the full namespace URL:

See http://www.day.com/specs/jcr/2.0/3_Repository_Model.html#
> Adding a child node named {foo fails but bar} works
> ---------------------------------------------------
> Key: JCR-3562
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-3562
> Project: Jackrabbit Content Repository
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: jackrabbit-core
> Affects Versions: 2.6
> Reporter: Bertrand Delacretaz
> Priority: Minor
> Attachments: failure-trace.txt, testBracketsInNodeName.patch
> I'll attach a test patch that demonstrates that addNode("bar}") works but addNode("{foo")
> AFAIK both are valid child node names.
