Subject [jira] [Created] (JCR-3499) Test cases should not rely on equality of node types
Date Thu, 24 Jan 2013 09:59:13 GMT
Michael Dürig created JCR-3499:
----------------------------------

Summary: Test cases should not rely on equality of node types
                 Key: JCR-3499
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-3499
             Project: Jackrabbit Content Repository
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: jackrabbit-jcr-tests
            Reporter: Michael Dürig

Currently some TCK tests rely on node type equality. See NodeMixinUtil#getNotAssignedMixinName.
This can cause the NodeRemoveMixinTest#testNotAssigned to fail if NodeType implementation
do not implement equals the way expected by the test case.

I suggest to change the test case to not rely on node type equality but rather compare the
node type names.
