Subject HDFS with Jackrabbit
Date Thu, 30 Aug 2012 05:39:31 GMT
Hi,

I went through the Jackrabbit documentation and it suggest that using
Jackrabbit with Local File System is faster than relational database. But a
relational database provides me the capability of data replication that I
will loose in local file system.

So, we are planning to use HDFS (without map-reduce) as a JCR Filesystem. I
also went through the
http://jackrabbit.510166.n4.nabble.com/using-Hadoop-HDFS-as-a-storage-in-JR-td515716.html
this post, but couldn't get any conclusion.

Please suggest is it better idea to use HDFS for JCR data replication.
