I'll do my best. My expertise in in HBase and I'll have to figure out Jackrabbit first. So don't take this as a commitment :)
I couldn't find the sandbox in any of the git repos. Is it only in SVN?

I looked over the code I mentioned in my previous email and started adapting it for Jackrabbit 2 and HBase 0.91, however there are a few problems:
The code relies on some changes in Hbase which never got into the mainline (I'm not sure whether the changes are really needed yet)
I still have to figure the logic behind it, but generally I see a different approach for this integration – one that would be semantically closer to HBase in terms of data layout.

So first I'll make the current code run so I could better understand it, then I'll start working on the new one.  I don't think it's a huge amount of work, but I'm doing this in my spare time so it could take a while :)

Hi Cosmon,

Please feel free to provide a patch for the latest HBase.

I’m interested to have a Layer to hadoop :-)

Hy Dayo,

There was an attempt (not sure what the status is today) http://jackrabbit.510166.n4.nabble.com/Jackrabbit-on-Hadoop-td529834.html

I'd like to know if there's interest for an HBase backed Jackrabbit as I have an idea on how it could be integrated with the latest HBase.

Hi -

Is there any nosql support for jackrabbit? Looking through the code and the issue trackers i can't see anything. I also didn't see any indication on the roadmap of plans for the future. Your response is appreciated as i'd like to take a look at adding this support
