Stefan Guggisberg resolved JCR-2914.
------------------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

> We need to find an appropriate buffer size based on the size of the InputStream.

IOUtil is a generic utility class. InputStream doesn't provide information about the size
of the underlying data.

i suggest you wrap your stream in a buffering input stream.

> The buffer size is fixed as 8192.
> To copy 10M data with 8192-byte buffer it takes 98,905,252 nano-second, while it takes
37,642,842 nano-second with a 81920-byte buffer
> We need to find an appropriate buffer size based on the size of the InputStream.
> This is similar to the Apache Bug:https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=32546
