Hi all,
=A0
I wondering if there are any plans in = short term to=20 upgrade lucene version. Unfortunately this is a big drawback for us, becaus= e we=20 are using jackrabbit in the same project with hibernate search framework wh= ich=20 uses the same lucene framework but newer version 2.9.3.=A0 There is already= =20 JCR-2415 on jira about upgrading to the lucene version 3.x but it is not=20 scheduled and not even assigned.
After short research I have seen that= =20 biggest changes between 2.4.1 and 2.9.3 are related to the=20 org.apache.lucene.search.Weight which is now an abstract class instead of= =20 interface and the signature of "scorer" method. If you are aware = about more=20 complex problems please let me know, otherwise I would try to make the luce= ne=20 upgrade locally.
=A0
=A0
thank=20 you,
Regards.
Dumitru=20 Ciubenco
