Subject Question: Jackrabbit on Oracle - oracle indexing rather than lucene's?
Date Tue, 29 Sep 2009 11:09:47 GMT
Hello,

I have developed an application for searching xml-data in the repository. It
works fine.

Then I startet to use oracle database with using the oracle persistence
manager. It works fine, too.

But when I compare the performance of both solutions, the search module
based on "Bundle File-System" is faster than running search module on
"Bundle Database PM".

My Question: What about storing data in oracle? is there a possibility to
use oracle indexing rather than lucene's?

I hope, you can help me?!

Thank you!

Cheers

David
