Subject [jira] Commented: (JCR-1463) TCK: testRestore assumes too much about OPV=VERSION

Marcel Reutegger commented on JCR-1463:
---------------------------------------

I understand your argument about the flexibility that the spec gives an implementation, but
how useful is an implementation with a behavior that is not predictable? Executing a series
of methods should always result in the same state. The way Jackrabbit handled this case is
IMO not acceptable. I'm OK with reverting my changes but only if we find a better solution.

> i run into failing restore test in the core project while trying to reproduce JCR-1293.
> since that i had similar (or the same) tests failing more than once. therefore i guess
this is really caused by a bug in the restore code or in the corresponding tests and not an
maven-artifact.
> the next time i get it, i will attach the surefire report.
