Subject [jira] Commented: (JCR-597) Implement NamespaceManager.unregister()
Date Thu, 16 Nov 2006 13:29:38 GMT

Tako Schotanus commented on JCR-597:

-1? You mean you wouldn't even accept the patches if someone was to implement this?

It _is_ part of the spec after all.

I'm aware that it might take very long and that it would basically block the entire repository
during the operation, but certain operation to relational databases have the same "problem".
It's just something that can be explained in the documentation IMO.

> Implement NamespaceManager.unregister()
> ---------------------------------------
> Key: JCR-597
> URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-597
> Project: Jackrabbit
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: namespace
> Affects Versions: 1.0, 1.0.1, 1.1, 0.9
> Environment: N/A
> Reporter: Tako Schotanus
> Priority: Minor
> At this moment the NamespaceManager.unregister() method always throws an exception. In
the code is a comment basically saying that it is not implemented yet.
