this feature was mainly thought for legacy repositories with fixed
content models. since jackrabbit has no restriction on the content
model it doesn't need to magically add/remove mixin's under the
cover.

if you require that nodes have a certain mixin just create a node type
that includes the mixin and specify that node type on node creation.
