hi simon,

i always use http://jcr.day.com for testing search queries.
if you click on the "search" button (little lens icon) in the content
explorer you will be presented a simple full text search.

and if you type in "document" and select xpath the resulting query
//*[jcr:contains(., 'document')]

assuming that this is what you were looking for.

... and interestingly enough you also find the term "document" in a
word.doc and a pdf ;)
