Subject [jira] Commented: (JCR-128) Deleting binary property does not remove 'blob file' in filesystem
Date Mon, 06 Jun 2005 10:26:39 GMT
    [ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-128?page=comments#action_12312733 ]

Tobias Strasser commented on JCR-128:

added a 'HandleMonitor' (r180286) that can be used with the LocalFileSystem. it traces all
'open' and reports a stacktrace or the allocation points, if the file cannot be deleted.

to enable it, set the 'enableHandleMonitor' param to 'true':

        <FileSystem class="org.apache.jackrabbit.core.fs.local.LocalFileSystem">
            <param name="path" value="${wsp.home}"/>
            <param name="enableHandleMonitor" value="true" />

> ------------------------------------------------------------------
>          Key: JCR-128
>          URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-128
>      Project: Jackrabbit
>         Type: Bug
>  Environment: jackrabbit r179771, windows
>     Reporter: Tobias Strasser
>     Assignee: Tobias Strasser

> when deleting a binary property or its containing node, the 'blob-file' sometime does
not get removed.
> the reason for this, is an open FileInputStream, that gets referenced in the property
