yeah, that sounds good. tho i'd like to be able to feed a text file into 
the import tool rather than a binary one - i'd rather hand code my node 
types in emacs than use a gui.

not sure what you mean about a command line option, but consider this a 
request for you to add the tool to jackrabbit :)
