Subject Re: Major changes with Isis v2
Date Wed, 10 Apr 2019 17:28:57 GMT
Hi Andi,

I think it's great to strive for the best, and I have respect for Spring
since its inception. One concern I have is that domain objects persisted
to multiple data stores would still work with Isis on top of Spring
persistence. Can you check on this capability as you go? JPA is fine for
my needs because I'm dealing with RDMS's, and there are a few tools
available to generate database mappings. Implementing JDO for Spring
persistence would also work if it could use the Datanucleus implementation.

Otherwise, can we back-port the changes you made in the v2 branch to
support the latest Datanucleus builds to the v1 branch?

Thanks!
Brian
