If there are such stuck emails and there is a way to flush them manually I'd be greatly thankful!

The ticket priority is Critical because the email communication is rather important for all
of us. But feel free to reduce it if you don't agree with me.
I could live with unavailable Git/JIRA/WIKI/... but I use the mail also for communicating
with non-ASF related parties and missing emails is rather critical to me.
