Chris Lambertus commented on INFRA-19008:
-----------------------------------------

Is this something that has been updated in the Ponymail code that is not present on lists.a.o?
I’m unclear what the ask here is.

> PonyMail supports finding email source by Message-ID, for example:
> api/source.lua/?id=<MID>
> The current version of the incubator code reports an error unless it finds exactly one
match.
> However if lists.a.o finds more than one match, it returns a single document, and does
not give any indication that there might be other matches.
> The same MID can appear on multiple mailing lists; lists.a.o will only show the source
for one of the copies.
> Usually, MIDs are unique, so other matches will have the same content even if the list
is different.
> However MIDs are not guranteed unique.
> The behaviour of lists.a.o is currently a bit misleading.
