sushuang commented on INFRA-18919:

Hi, Justin & Greg,

We are optimizing the website now, reduce the size of the assets. That could speed up the
visit from all over the world. The optimized webpage will come online soon, maybe tomorrow.

But I think that is probably not enough to resolve the issue.
The testing we made has compared accessing "" with the other common
website in China and all of them respond in a reasonable speed.
Especially, "", which has the same content, responses very fast in
the same environment (the same time and the same network).

I have added some snapshots of the testing result these days to the attachment above just

In some cases, the asset response takes a too long time.
For example, it takes more than several seconds or even tens of seconds for an asset in 10KB
~ 40KB. We are reducing the size of the assets, hoping to make it better.
After the optimizing, we will test the speed again.

In some cases, the initial network request of a webpage (for example,
do not respond or respond with a long delay.
The optimized of the assets do not resolve these cases.

> ECharts (incubating) is currently using . We found some serious
loading speed problem in Beijing, China, and wish to know if this can be improved.
> For example, this page takes about 3
seconds to load in Shanghai, China, but takes more than more than 30 seconds in Beijing.
> Since ECharts website has many visitors from China, this can be a big problem if not
fixed. Please help have a look. Thanks!
