Subject [jira] [Created] (INFRA-18666) jenkins-website2 node build failure
Date Thu, 27 Jun 2019 15:20:00 GMT
Steve Rowe created INFRA-18666:

             Summary: jenkins-website2 node build failure
                 Key: INFRA-18666
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Outage
          Components: Jenkins
            Reporter: Steve Rowe

The "websites2" Jenkins node is apparently a new VM (see likely related notification email
below) on which a Lucene/Solr job is failing to run. From
, where RVM is building a Ruby 2.3.3 interpreter since it can't find one on the VM:

> Error running '__rvm_make -j8',
> please read /home/jenkins/.rvm/log/1561644621_ruby-2.3.3/make.log

Since I don't have access to this machine, I can't read the log to figure out what's wrong.
Can somebody please take a look?

FYI, the "Solr-reference-guide-8.x" job was pinned to the "git-websites" label, which includes
both the "websites1" and the "websites2" nodes. I've since pinned it to the "websites1" node
(where it's building fine) directly to avoid building on "websites2" for now.

On Jun 25, 2019 Gavin McDonald wrote to the builds@a.o list:
